EIP Responds to California’s New “Motor Voter” Law

Here we go again, create chaos and misinformation so that the citizens will not recognize the attempt to change our form of government. Let’s review California Secretary of State Alex Padilla’s comment in the Breitbart article released, October 12, 2015 and correct the misinformation.

Secretary of State Padilla states, “The New Motor Voter Act will make our democracy stronger by removing a key barrier to voting for millions of California citizens. Citizens should not be required to opt in to their fundamental right to vote. We do not have to opt in to other rights, such as free speech or due process.”

1. When Mr. Padilla says “make our democracy stronger”, what he’s saying is “make it easier for non-citizens to participate in the vote”. It is not the citizen voters who are empowered by this law; it is the non-citizen “voters”, who also receive a “get out of jail free” clause along with an unobstructed, automatic registration to vote.

2. The fundamental right to vote is bestowed upon citizens, NOT “all who apply for a driver’s license”.  Californians who meet the qualifications specified in our Constitution and laws (must be 18 years of age and a CITIZEN of CA and the USA) have the RIGHT to REGISTER and then VOTE. The State has no right to force registration on its citizens, as this law does, and certainly has no right to facilitate registration and voting by non-citizens.
Neither the Governor nor the Legislators have the authority to change our form of government from a Republic (governance by the consent of citizen) to a “democracy” (governance by majority rule) by simply passing a law. Citizens must oppose this treasonous attempt to turn California into a form of government that gives control to non-citizens.
The law is signed, but the fight has just begun. We MUST continue the pressure from all sides to reverse this disastrous law.
Contact your neighbors, legislators, the Secretary of State, and the Governor and let them know you will not ignore this attack on our Republic. Do it NOW, and tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow. Do not stop, and do not surrender.

On Saturday, California Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 1461, the New Motor Voter Act, which will automatically register people to vote through the DMV, and could result in illegal aliens voting.
Any person who renewed or secured a driver’s license through the DMV may now register to vote, or choose to opt out of doing so. Because illegal immigrants are now eligible for obtaining driver’s licenses, they could be allowed to vote in elections if the Secretary of State’s office fails to verify their eligibility properly.
Brown and the California Democratic party know exactly what they are doing; as a Public Policy Institute survey showed, among unregistered adults, 49% lean toward the Democratic Party and 22% toward the Republican Party. Any bill permitting illegal immigrants to vote would cement the Democratic Party’s hold on California. Click Here to Continue Reading..

A bill signed Saturday by California Gov. Jerry Brown aimed at improving voter turnout has critics predicting that it will ramp up voter fraud by making it easier for noncitizens to cast ballots.
The New Motor Voter Act automatically registers to vote all eligible voters when they obtain or renew their driver’s licenses at the Department of Motor Vehicles instead of requiring them to fill out a form. Those eligible may opt out of voter registration. Click here to continue reading..

In a sickening turn of events, California Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 1461, the New Motor Voter Act into law on Saturday. According to Breitbart, this bill will automatically register people to vote through the DMV, meaning illegal immigrants will likely now be able to vote as well.

This law allows anyone who has renewed or secured a license through the DMV to register to vote. Illegal immigrants are now able to obtain driver’s licenses, so this law will also likely give them the right to vote in elections. Click here to continue reading..
